APA How-To Video
Watch this 30-minute video to get the basics of citing in APA style, formatting a paper, and how the online library can provide a shortcut to the citatioin process!
Why do we cite?
Properly citing sources requires specific information about the resources you used while writing a paper. This information will be provided to people reading your paper in two ways: an in-text citation throughout the paper and a full citation in the reference section. This guide will explain what information is required and how exactly to format it properly.
Why should you provide citations?
1) To give proper credit for words, ideas, graphics, or other information you borrow from others.
2) To help readers find sources you used in case they want to read more from those pieces for themselves.
